R16 for Migraine and Headaches by Dr. Reckeweg is a homeopathic remedy designed to address migraine, nervous headaches, and head neuralgia, particularly when headaches are frequent or caused by minor chills.

Used for:

• Migraine and nervous headaches
• Neuralgia of the head
• General indisposition from continuous headaches

Key Ingredients

• Cimicifuga: addresses neuralgia linked to ovarian disorders, supraorbital pains, and sensation of heat at the top of the head
• Gelsemium: helps reduce cerebral congestion, feelings of weakness, aversion to light, and pain above the eyes
• Iris: used for periodic migraine and intense headaches that may temporarily affect vision, also addresses bitter vomiting at the peak of headache
• Sanguinaria: addresses nervous irritability, alternating sensations of heat and chills, sensitivity to noise and light, with symptoms improving when lying down
• Spigelia: helps with one-sided headache that rises and falls with the sun, particularly when related to the heart

Directions for Use

• Take 10 to 15 drops in water 3 to 6 times daily depending on how severe the headaches are
• After improvement, continue with 10 drops three times daily for 2 to 3 days

Remarks

• For influenza, also use R6
• For inflammation of the head nerves or sinus inflammation, use R1 at 10 to 15 drops in water 3 to 6 times daily
• For arteriosclerosis, cerebral sclerosis, or high blood pressure, refer to R12
• For rheumatic or neuralgic head complaints, refer to R11
